Extended Opportunity

Certainly Chaplains Ministries is interested in registering, resourcing and recruiting men and women for institutional Chaplaincy. However, the larger goal is to utilize our institutional chaplains to recruit, resource, and motivate local churches to seek out opportunities to work in tandem with them through their volunteer work force. The mobilization of the people of God to minister grace and hope during the crises in others lives is a strategic commitment of our resources for evangelism. Volunteers from our churches reaching out to our communities with the love of God will make a difference in the lives of many.

Statistically, institutional chaplains serve in the most fertile, opportunistic settings for evangelism. Institutional chaplains, because of the nature of their work and ministry, are present at many of these moments of life crises. As ministers of God’s purpose and hope, their presence during these crucial times increases the potential for soul winning.

The church has received a commission to "GO" in order to evangelize the lost peoples of the world. Institutional chaplains, who are so strategically deployed in church and community, have the ability to build a bridge between the two for effective soul winning.
